The earth is our cradle: No other material is easier to work with than clay to compose a good ground for construction. Hylé // Subtle Materials is based on knowledge of the School of Architecture of Grenoble and the Association CRAterre. One of our most notable collaborations was with Annaïg Madec fron Botmobil association, together constructing a house made ​​of straw bale and wooden frame, coated in clay from the local surroundings.
